Lacrosse - Canada's Official Summer Sport – is strong and growing. In 2008, the Junior Griffins will enter our 31st season in Gloucester. An incorporated not-for-profit organization, the Griffins organization has provided hundreds of athletes aged seventeen to twenty-one an opportunity to play the Canadian game at a high level of competition across both Ontario and Quebec. The 2008 season should provide Eastern Ottawa with exciting lacrosse as the Griffins rebuild, adding an excellent group of rookies to some strong veterans. The Griffins are part of a very strong Far Eastern division, which includes Nepean, Akwesasne and Cornwall. The OLA league comprises of 23 teams from across the province.

The Griffins play ten home games at the Earl Armstrong Arena. The majority of sponsorship exposure will be at our home games. There will be other exposures in the local area, in particular when we play an away game at Nepean.

Minor lacrosse continues to grow in the National Capital Region, and we hope to provide the elite level of competition for those graduating from the minor program. The 2008 season promises to be a very competitive season for the Junior Griffins and we are embarking on an extensive program to build a strong foundation for lacrosse both now and in the future. We are asking for your support in sponsoring with the Junior Lacrosse Program. We have provided a variety of sponsorship packages with various levels of commitment and benefits.
